He is based in Seoul and Shanghai, has curated retrospectives of directors such as Tsai Ming-liang and Kiyoshi Kurosawa, as well as the Shanghai Hoyts Screenings. Co-organized the Focus on BUSAN special program in collaboration with the Busan International Short Film Festival. As a producer, has had films selected for prestigious festivals including San Sebastián, Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, Oberhausen International Short Film Festival, and Sundance Asia.
