Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Damian is a Global Marketer with 15+ years experience supporting the Canadian and US markets in the branding, marketing research, and digital marketing space. A data focused decision maker with a breadth of experience across multiple marketing verticals, Damian brings the marketing process, automation, and stakeholder management knowledge from large corporations and combines it with an agility and consulting approach from agency environments to get things done. As the head of marketing at Shift72, Damian is responsible for leading a team of content, digital and design experts to establish new verticals for Shift72 and grow our market share within the festival and entertainment space. Prior to joining Shift72, Damian spent seven years at a leading Canadian financial institution where he most recently led the Canadian and US digital marketing function for one of the country’s largest personal and institutional asset managers. As a recent 2021 immigrant to New Zealand, when not at work, Damian spends his time exploring the New Zealand coastline and countryside and spending time with his dog, Jack, the Shiba Inu who flew from Canada with him.
