Norwich Film Festival

United Kingdom

festival

The BIFA and BAFTA qualifying Norwich Film Festival was founded in 2009 and has become an internationally recognised film festival, taking place annually in Norwich, UK, during November. It’s a celebration of independent film and actively supports and champions filmmaking, providing a platform for new and existing talents to showcase their amazing work in Norwich.

We have become a key annual event for emerging and established filmmakers from all over the world. We are proud that our festival programme is curated with original, diverse, bold and culturally rich content. Films submitted to our festival have gone on to win awards at BAFTA and the Oscars, as well as other festivals such as Sundance, Tribeca, and SXSW.

Each year we screen over 150 films, shorts and features, to an audience of thousands – and we have recently expanded to include an online version of the festival, which broadens our audience even more.
