Founded in 2017 by Luce Grosjean and Miyu Productions, Miyu Distribution specializes in international sales and the dissemination of animated films. The company distributes all of Miyu Productions’ short films, graduation films from top animation schools, as well as works from independent production studios.
With 10 Oscar nominations, 2 César Awards – Été 96 by Mathilde Bédouet (2024) and Yuck! by Loïc Espuche (2025) – a Palme d’Or and a Cristal for Best Short Film for 27 by Flora Anna Buda (2023), as well as two awards for Best Distribution Company granted by UniFrance and La Fête du court métrage (2021, 2024), Miyu Distribution has established itself as a key player in the industry.
Since 2021, the company has expanded into international feature film sales, starting with Archipelago by Félix Dufour-Laperrière (Rotterdam, Annecy) and Dozens of Norths, the first feature film by the renowned Japanese animation master Koji Yamamura. In 2025, the company acquired the rights to La gran historia de la filosofía occidental by Aria Covanomas, selected at Rotterdam, and Olivia & Las Nubes by Tomás Pichardo Espaillat, awarded at Locarno. Both films are selected in the Contrechamps competition at Annecy 2025.

 Bang Bang is a YouTube channel dedicated to independent animation. Discover a curated selection of short films by both established directors and animation students, as well as thematic playlists: genre films, LGBTQ+ stories, documentaries, and behind-the-scenes content including making-ofs and artist interviews.

In 2014 Luce Grosjean founded Sève Films, a distribution company destined to promote student films in animation festivals, but also young talent directors. In 2017, she associated with Miyu Productions to create Miyu Distribution, specialized in distribution in festivals and international sells.
