The Lithuanian Short Film Agency “Lithuanian Shorts” is the leading non-governmental organisation in Lithuania dedicated to fostering short film culture at both national and international levels. Founded in 2012 as a platform for promoting Lithuanian short films, the agency has grown into a well-recognised organization, gaining national and international acclaim through the implementation of large-scale audiovisual projects.

“Lithuanian Shorts” collaborates with a range of organisations, institutions, film schools, the private sector, film festivals, and cinemas. It curates short film programmes and promotes the Lithuanian short film industry across European markets and film festivals.

The agency’s largest events include the Vilnius Short Film Festival, the Baltic short film industry event “Baltic Pitching Forum”, and the Baltic mentorship programme for audiovisual women “Baltic Women in Film Mentorship”.

“Lithuanian Shorts” is a member of the global short film organization “Short Film Conference”, the European short film and video art distribution network “Short Circuit”, the Nordic-Baltic Shorts Network, the European Women’s Audiovisual Network (EWA), the European film festival networks “Young4Film” and “The END”, and the National Association of Creative and Cultural Industries (NKIKIA). “Lithuanian Shorts” is also one of the founders of the Film Culture Association and “Women in Film & Television Lithuania” association.
