festival

The Dinan Short Film Festival returns from November 19 to 23, 2025. Over five days, the Festival will spotlight francophone short films, with 56 French and international works in competition, including several premieres and exclusive screenings. Each year, a francophone country belonging to the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF) is showcased in the program. The Festival places a special emphasis on youth, both in the filmmakers behind the shorts and the actors who bring them to life. Driven by a passion for discovering new voices and forms of cinema, and for meeting those who shape today’s film landscape and will define tomorrow’s, the Dinan Short Film Festival continues to evolve while preserving the moments of dialogue and exchange that make it a key gathering place for francophone short film professionals from around the world.
